About the Manga

Chainsmoker Cat is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by NyanNyanFactory. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine since February 2023.

The story follows Yaniko, a catgirl living in the apartment building Nyagamihara who battles a severe smoking addiction while attempting to get her life together. Behind on her rent and unable to hold down a job, her friends and sister rally around to help her out.

About the Anime

An anime television series adaptation produced by Bibury Animation Studios premiered on July 3, 2026. The anime is available for streaming on Netflix worldwide.
